Stage Rental in Hyderabad
Modular, portable and custom stages for conferences, product launches, convocations, exhibitions and outdoor events — engineered for load, levelled, safety-checked and installed by our own crew across Hyderabad.
Event stages built for the room, the load and the audience
A stage does more than raise speakers above the crowd — it carries people, podiums, LED walls, furniture and sometimes vehicles, so it has to be sized, levelled and load-rated correctly. MARK Events supplies modular decking stages that assemble to almost any footprint and height, from a low 2ft platform for a boardroom address to a 4–6ft show stage with ramps and handrails for a product launch or convocation.
Every stage is planned around three things: the audience size and sightlines, the load it must carry, and whether it sits indoors on a hall floor or outdoors on open ground. We handle the engineering, anchoring, levelling, skirting and finishing, and our crew installs and dismantles within the venue's window.
Stages we rent
Standard 1m×1m or 8ft×4ft decks locked into any size and height — the workhorse for most events.
Quick-assemble platforms for smaller indoor events and short setup windows.
Raised stages with ramps, steps, handrails and skirting for launches and fashion shows.
Anchored, weather-ready staging for open grounds, with rain cover and levelling on uneven surfaces.
Runway and ramp additions for fashion shows, convocations and vehicle reveals.
Reinforced decks and rear structure to safely carry mounted LED walls and backdrops.
What stage size should you rent?
Stage size depends on audience count, how many people stand on it, and the venue. This guide gives a practical starting point — we then fine-tune to your exact hall and running order.
| Audience / venue | Suggested stage size | Typical height | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20–50 guests | 8ft × 8ft | 1–2 ft | Boardroom, small meeting |
| 50–150 guests | 16ft × 12ft | 2 ft | Seminar, training |
| 150–500 guests | 24ft × 16ft | 3 ft | Conference, townhall |
| 500+ guests | 32ft × 20ft+ | 3–4 ft | Ballroom, launch |
| Auditorium | Fit to proscenium | Stage-level | Convocation, cultural |
| Outdoor ground | 40ft × 24ft+ | 4–6 ft | Concert, public event |
How high should a stage be?
Height is about sightlines: the larger and flatter the seating, the higher the stage needs to be so the back rows can see. As a rule, a stage of 1–2 ft suits small flat-floor rooms, 3 ft suits mid-size conferences, and 4–6 ft suits large or outdoor audiences seated on level ground. In tiered auditoriums the stage sits at the existing platform level. Anything above 2 ft should have steps and, for public events, handrails.
Can LED walls be mounted on the stage?
Yes — but only on a stage designed for it. A mounted LED wall adds significant weight and wind load (outdoors), so we use reinforced decking and a separate rear support or ground-stacked structure rather than hanging weight off a standard platform. We calculate the combined load of the wall, people and props before finalising the build. See LED wall rental and AV equipment to plan the full stage setup.
Modular vs wooden vs aluminium stages
The stage material affects strength, finish, setup speed and cost. Here is how the three common options compare.
| Type | Strengths | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Modular (steel/ply deck) | Any size & height, high load, fast assembly | Most events, indoor & outdoor |
| Wooden | Custom shapes, premium finish | Bespoke launch & show stages |
| Aluminium | Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, quick | Outdoor & frequent-move setups |
Indoor vs outdoor staging: what changes
An indoor stage sits on a level hall floor, so the priorities are height for sightlines, clean skirting and safe electrical routing. An outdoor stage has to handle far more: uneven or soft ground needs levelling and load-spreading base plates, wind load means the structure and any LED wall must be anchored and ballasted, and rain means a covered roof, waterproofing and drainage. Outdoor builds also carry heavier safety requirements. We plan anchoring, weatherproofing and load for every open-ground stage rather than simply lifting an indoor design outside.
Complete stage packages
Stages are almost always rented as part of a full setup. These are our most-requested combinations.
Stage, podium, projector or LED wall, PA sound and lighting.
Show stage, LED wall, AV, stage lighting and branding.
Stage with ramp, podium, PA system and LED screen for large ceremonies.
Stage, truss, LED wall, sound and lighting for exhibition presentations.
Load-rated, levelled and safety-checked
A stage carries people and heavy equipment, so we treat every build as an engineering job, not just decking:
- 1Load capacity calculated — we rate each stage for the combined weight of people, podium, LED wall and props before building.
- 2Engineering & levelling — decks are locked, braced and levelled, with base plates to spread load on soft or uneven ground.
- 3Anchoring & ballast — outdoor stages and mounted LED walls are anchored and ballasted against wind load.
- 4Steps, ramps & handrails — added wherever height or public access requires them.
- 5Electrical safety — all under-stage and on-stage cabling is routed, secured and covered.
- 6Inspection & technician supervision — the finished stage is inspected before use and supervised through the event, then safely dismantled.
How long does stage installation take?
A standard indoor modular stage of conference size is typically installed in a few hours; larger show stages with ramps, skirting and LED support, or outdoor ground stages needing levelling and anchoring, take longer and are usually built the day before. We schedule the crew to the venue's build-up window so the stage is ready and inspected before your event begins.

Stage rental — FAQs
What size stage should I rent?
Match the stage to your audience and venue: roughly 8ft×8ft for up to 50 guests, 16ft×12ft for 50–150, 24ft×16ft for 150–500, and 32ft×20ft or larger for 500+ or outdoor events. We fine-tune the exact size to your hall and running order.
How high should a stage be?
1–2 ft suits small flat-floor rooms, 3 ft suits mid-size conferences, and 4–6 ft suits large or outdoor audiences on level ground. Tiered auditoriums use the existing stage level. Stages above 2 ft get steps and, for public events, handrails.
How much weight can the stage support?
Our modular stages are load-rated and engineered for the combined weight of people, podiums, LED walls and props. We calculate the required load capacity for your specific setup before building rather than using a one-size deck.
Can LED walls be mounted on the stage?
Yes, on a stage designed for it. Because a mounted LED wall adds weight and wind load, we use reinforced decking with a separate rear support or ground-stacked structure and calculate the combined load first.
Do you provide indoor and outdoor stages?
Yes. Indoor stages are levelled on the hall floor; outdoor ground stages add base plates for uneven ground, anchoring and ballast against wind, and a roof and waterproofing against rain.
When is a ramp required?
Ramps are used for fashion-show runways, convocation processions, wheelchair access and vehicle reveals. We add ramps, steps and handrails to any stage where the height or event format needs them.
How long does stage installation take?
A standard indoor modular stage is installed in a few hours; larger show stages and outdoor ground stages take longer and are usually built the day before, then inspected before the event.
